KR Related
Before I dropped out, I built a KR-2. This was a great airplane and I felt proud that I was able to set a new standard for the aircraft in 1992 when I first showed the plane at the KR Gathering and at Oshkosh. Over the years I won approximately 15 awards. The liinks below are left on the site for a few of the articles I wrote about flying the plane, the way I built it and some of the places I went in recent years.
KR-2 - General Information - My plane, landing the plane, tuning the Posa Carb and timing the VW engine.
Unique Parts of Jim's KR - Instrument Panel and why if it fly's well.
Oshkosh 2002 - I flew to Oshkosh in 2002 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the KR. I had previously flown up in 92 and 97. This was a good trip and I had fun on the flight line, making a presentation and helping Steve in the Great Plains Aircraft booth.
Oshkosh Planning 2003 The EAA accepted my proposal for a second presentation at Airventure Oshkosh - 2003. Find out about the talk, preparations and other speakers.
Cape Airshow - Up close and personal with an F18 and a Blackhawk.
